Reps (repsapp.ai), operated by REPSAPP AI LLC, is an AI-powered calisthenics tracking platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
We are committed to transparency — especially regarding the use of your movement data for AI model training.
Data We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:
Camera & Pose Detection
Reps uses your device camera to detect body pose and count reps in real time. Here's what you need to know:
- Pose detection runs entirely on your device using TensorFlow.js — your video is never uploaded to our servers
- Only numerical joint angle data (keypoints) is transmitted, not video footage
- The camera is only active while the training screen is open
We never store, stream, or transmit your video feed. Camera access is used exclusively for real-time pose estimation on your device.
ML Training Consent
During onboarding, users are given the option to contribute anonymized pose data to improve our AI rep-counting models. This is opt-in only.
Payment Processing
Premium subscriptions are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. REPSAPP AI LLC never stores your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details.
We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account.
How We Use Your Data
- To operate and improve the Reps platform
- To track your workout history and progress
- To provide AI-powered rep counting and recommendations
- To manage your subscription and billing
- To retrain exercise detection models (only with your consent)
- To send password reset emails via Resend
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with advertisers or third-party marketers. Ever.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data:
- Email us at contact@ogbarbeast.com with subject line "Delete My Account"
- We will permanently delete your account and all associated workout data within 30 days
- Anonymized training data that has already been incorporated into model weights cannot be individually reversed
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw ML training consent
- Export your workout history

Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, JWT authentication, and access controls. No system is 100% secure — if you discover a vulnerability, please report it to our contact email.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Reps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
